Coastal Mississippi has meeting venues to suit any event and nearly 16,000 hotel rooms to meet your accommodation needs. For instance, the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center offers more than 400,000 state-of-the-art square feet of meeting space and can comfortably house groups of up to 6,000 people. A majority of the resorts located throughout our coastal communities offer meetings and event space for a variety of groups. Area hotels also provide from 1,000 to 6,400 square feet to house smaller groups.

Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum

The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum was established in 1986 to preserve and interpret the maritime history and heritage of Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It accomplishes this mission through an array of exhibits on shrimping, oystering, recreational fishing, wetlands, managing marine resources, charter boats, marine blacksmithing, wooden boat building, netmaking, catboats/Biloxi skiff, shrimp peeling machine and numerous historic photographs and objects. Pascagoula River Audubon Center

The Pascagoula River Audubon Center serves as a gateway to the longest free-flowing river in the lower 48 states where visitors can experience and learn about birds and wildlife throughout the year. The center also serves as a demonstration site for environmentally friendly concepts and a portal to conservation programs applicable to all visitors, local residents and tourists alike. A two-hour interpretive boat tour is also available from the center. Call for directions and hours.
The new center features a 5,000 sq ft center with an interpretive area. This area will include seven aquaria highlighting the river's aquatic elements ranging from fresh to brackish. There will also be a nature-based fine art gallery highlighting the work of local, regional, and national nature artists through shows.
